Michi Calica has sat down with countless brides-to-be in search of that one perfect gown. More than 18 years in the industry, Michi Calica is synonymous with her signature style: up-to-the-minute without being shallow; pretty without being cloying; and glamorous without being intimidating. For further studies, she attended the Art Institute of Seattle where she earned a Carolina Herrera Scholarship. She showcased her work in the Asian Fashion Grand Prix in Japan and Jeunes Createurs de Mode in Paris. At present, her company has started exporting bridal apparel to the US. She is also a registered florist and owns Michi Calica Fresh Flowers, a company that delivers couture bouquets all over Metro Manila. Michi Calica also runs and owns Bonne Bouche, a high-end boutique at Greenbelt 5, Makati featuring her ready-to-wear cocktail dresses, fine jewelry, sexy handmade shoes and leather bags created by manila's top female designers. Currently she is a teaching instructor at SoFA (School of Fashion and the Arts) teaching a course on Fashion Entrepreneurship. Michi resides with her husband, Jose Sotto and three lovely daughters, Katerina, Christiana and Amanda in Manila.
